Friday night, Cyn and I decided to go out to LaCasita, her favorite place for margaritas. It turned out to be closed. We decided to look for someplace else to go, and drove around the city for the next 40 minutes or so, looking for a place to stop. We found LaPerla, but it was too noisy - college crowd. We ended up at Louisa's. It was only okay, but my date was nice.
Then we came back to my place on saturday afternoon, and I mowed my lawn and did the last bit of yard work for the year.
After supper, I left to go camping. I wasnt' exactly looking forward to it, but it ended up being a really nice evening. The weather was nice - not too cold, windy or rainy. The fire was warm. The campground was fairly quiet. There were only three boys along, and two of them went to bed early. Mark had made a pumpkin pie earlier - pumpkin pie is one of my favorite parts of this time of year.
Today, Cyn came up and I cleaned the house (some). We made a pork pie for dinner (pork sausage and apples). It was very good. The we stokpped by my mom's for cookies.
