I don't recall a time when a vote for a Senator was so clearly a vote in favor of the President's agenda.

I wonder how many people understood this.

Either the people that voted Republican understand this, and it is part of their agenda, or they didn't realize the enormous message that they were sending.

I dont' think that's true. There are many people that support his stance on religion and his stance on Iraq. I know some of them.
