Gas went up ten cents. It's now a buck sixty five. At least I filled up before, instead of after it went up.

I can't wait until we take over Iraq. That should help things.

Nah, then they'll figure out some way to make us PAY more, even though there'll BE more oil....

i do believe that the price of petroleum products such as gasoline, fuel oil, diesel, etc. ALWAYS climbs in the fall........at least, it does in my state......

i'm quite happy not to pay the tax load on gasoline that most europeans must pay....

plus, i doubt that any war in iraq would really change oil prices all that much.....

Uh Huh. That's the spirit. Sheesh!

:::taps impatient finger on desk::::

Like it will make ANY difference on our gas prices anyway. The government will just tax the crap out of it like they do cigarettes.

$1.65 for gas! That’s highway robbery! I paid $1.30 yesterday. I HOPE I don't go out and find it at $1.60 this morning... I didn't fill up yesterday. Chit.

Gas is always highest around this spot in the nation, and down in Illinois.

And within the Sacramento city limits, if I remember correctly.

Yesterday it was a $1.43.. when I DIDN'T fill up, today I paid $1.49 at the cheapest place in town.. wal*mart. I suppose I should be grateful.

The last time the price went up, my tank was on empty, and I was kicking myself for not buying the night before, when I realized I was almost out. But the price hadn't gone up in months.

This time, I was down by Cyn's and needing gas, when I saw that it had gone up. But I only put enough in to get me around, and when I got back home, I found that it hadn't gone up here, so I filled up. Score one for me! Well, maybe a half.

Half a score is better than none!
