I took the day off to get some things done.

I went to Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed. I didn't realize until I got to the counter that I didn't have any money with me. Since they had my address and license plate on file, they trusted e to go home and get it. Well, I guess they didn't have much of a choice.

I need to rake leaves. I put it off. Then most of them blew away. There are still some left, but now they have a little snow on them. Oh well, that's what I get.

I'm going out with my friend Doug tonight. I don't think it will be a late night. I'm very tired. I feel like I'm coming down with something. I've beebn staying up too late lately. (Gee, I wonder what I've been doing? Damn computer!)

Out of cash - game over

I once filled my car, then realised I couldn't pay. They made me wait while the police turned up to verify my name and address!

I can't even count the times I've gone to pay, at different places, and discovered I don't have any money (checkbook, credit card) on me. One time, I had to push my cart of groceries over to the service counter, and leave it there while I went home to bring back the cash. I did it once at the gas station, and I left my car there while I walked across the street to my house to get the money.

I imagine that your car was sufficient security on the loan of a tank-full!
