Yes, I know that comedy shows are not "concerts."
Bands in parentheses were on the bill, but I did not see them.

I wish I had kept a record, starting with Jefferson Airplane in the early 70's.

I can't remember a lot of the warmup performers, although I do recall that one of the two times I saw the Stones during the 70's, their warmup was Billy Preston, and he was GREAT.

Maybe I should start making a list and eventually try to figure out corresponding years of performances.

I kept all of my ticket stubs. It's one of my most prized posessions. I did keep a list, though. It included venue and who I went with.

OK, you're getting this first a very sketchy first list:

8/4/67 Monkees, St. Paul

5/15/70 Jefferson Airplane, Minneapolis

*70's* in no particular order:
Mountain (Chicago)
Rolling Stones (twice)
Jethro Tull
Bob Dylan
Yes
Dave Brubeck
Grateful Dead
Joni Mitchell
Sweet Honey N the Rock
Margie Adams (2)
Pete Seeger
Arlo Guthrie
Bonnie Raitt

*80's* in a little bit of order

Bread & Roses concert(s?) in Berkeley: Mimi Farina, Taj Majal, Paul Simon, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, others
Stevie Wonder
Diana Ross
Elton John
The Who
Joan Baez
Ray Charles
Rolling Stones
Los Lobos

*90's* in a little bit of order

Neil Young's acoustic Bridge School Benfit Concerts: Bridge VI (1992) with Elton John, Pearl Jam, Shawn Colvin, James Taylor, Sammy Hagar; Bridge VII (1993) with Melissa Etheridge, Pearl Jam, Sammy Hagar, Eddie Van Halen, Bonnie Raitt (with Graham Nash on one tune), Warren Zevon, Ann & Nancy Wilson (of Heart). Plus I think I was at Bridge V in 1991.

Van Morrison
Holly Near
Eric Clapton
Rolling Stones (twice)

I went to my first concert when I was a junior in high school.

Er, either summer between 5th & 6th grades or between 6th & 7th. No time to figure it out at the moment.

Quite the impressive list. I've gone to very few concerts. I think the concerts I've seen aren't on your list. Golden Earring, Bryan Adams, The Police, Jann Arden, Luba, and more recently, the Cher Farewell concert (which was actually better than I anticipated).

Gotta like those Scorpions. I used to have a few of their albums ;)
