(b) The sender just faked your e-mail address as the sender's address. If you're using a mail client (e.g. Outlook rather than Hotmail), you have to specify your own e-mail address to appear in the "from" line because the software has no way of knowing. So, you can put in whatever you like.
(c) If you're a dedicated spammer, read up on SMTP and talk directly to your outbound mail server, then you can specify a different "from" address on each piece of spam.
So, e-mail addresses shouldn't be relied on.
