smells

Today and yesterday I've smelled an odd smell. It smells like the cabinet under the sink in my mom's old house. It smells like dish soap, a dish rag and onions. It's faint but annoying because I can't figure out what it really is.

For a while the place smelled like tuna fish from the lunch room. Our ventilation system is terrible.

And in the last few minutes I've been smelling sage. I have no idea why.

I worked in a building with a canteen once. The vent from the kitchen was near the ventilation intake for the rest of the building, so by mid-morning, you could always tell what was for lunch.
