Thanks to all for your kind words and thoughts and prayers and positive vibes, and whatever you sent.

I'm not one to reply to every comment made in my Journal, so I want you to know that I absorbed each and every word you left there.

Grandma will have a full house (um, hospital room) this weekend, so I don't think I'm needed. I'll go down in a couple of weeks. Then she will be wanting company. Or maybe a couple of weeks after that, when she goes back home.

My dad said that when he first saw her, he almost didn't recognize her. She was in bad shape. He said he was glad nobody else had to see her like that, and he wished he hadn't. So the next day when she was sitting in a chair, her recovery to that point had been miraculous.
