It was nice to hear Bush come down on Israel. He also came down hard on Arafat, which was also good.

I heard him on the news this morning. He sure is a poor orator. Oh well. At least his words were good. I love how widely praised he suddenly is, for taking this stance. What the hell was he waiting for?

I agree that Bush said some of the right things. I wouldn't say it was "nice" or "good" to hear those things, but maybe that's just quibbling over semantics. All of this is so painful, difficult, and tragic.

It must be semantics. I think it is good to hear the right things, even if the right things suck too.

it is bullshit to expect arafat to stop the bombers when sharon has systematically destroyed any capability he ever had to enforce the law.
