this was a good day

Aside from spreading the news some more, It snowed most of the day. I drove over to my mom's and snow was everywhere - all the trees were covered - and it was falling gently in big flakes. It was the kind that makes you want to dance in it. My crocus flower buds are poking out of the snow - violet and golden noses, pointing skyward from their blankets.

Mom gave me a loaf of bread, and I picked it up right away, so it was still warm when I got it home - mmm!

I chatted with my Grandma for a while. Sometimes it is a little awkward talking with her, because I can't always think of enough to talk about, but this time we spoke for quite a while.

I had some free time tonight because there was no scout meeting - Easter holiday/spring break.
