HR games

A bunch of people are gathered in HR having a good laugh over the pictures in people's files from when they were hired.

The best one was when somebody noticed that Eileen is wearing the same sweater she had on in the photo - thirteen years ago.

Good god...how embarrassing! That would be me. Wearing the same clothes for decades. Is Eileen laughing too?

Yes, but she was embarassed too. Of course, she blamed it on her wages.

I think it kinda depends on the sweater! If it really *looks* its age, maybe I'd be embarassed. But I wear some clothes that are that old, mostly because I really like them or I haven't found anything I like better. (Not to mention I can be cheap and have little time or inclination to shop.)

Maybe she should just be glad it still fits? :)

The sweater didn't look dated, so much as just plain ugly. :-D

I also have some old clothing that I still wear. I have one shirt in particular that I got in 1988, and I still like it.

That's not so bad. I can't find where I wrote down MG's birthday, which I completely missed last year, and I'm afraid it's coming up soon. What to do, what to do?

Not to worry. *I'm* the one whose head is hanging for not remember his birthday, again. I'm pretty sure it's right around The Kid's birthday, which is coming up, so it's driving me crazy. And I know I wrote it down but damn if I can find where! :(
