Our dental insurance does not cover anesthetic. Apparently they don't consider it necessary.

This pisses me off. They have to do everything they can to cut costs, when they are the reason prices are so high in the first place. They drive up the cost and then bail on you.

Whaa? No anesthetic? I know my dad considers it optional (he's rabidly afraid of needles) but for most people it's mandatory.

Ah, yet another great example of the logic behind HMO/PPO plans.

I think at times they smoke a very large bag of crack (bought with the money saved by screwing us.) before making up new rules.

hmmmmmm, just who is your dental provider?......i would think that the best thing you can do for them is to advertise for them......nothing but the truth.....perhaps a letter to the state division of insurance?.....
