candy hearts

I'm sitting here at Cindy's computer, and there's this bag of Valentine's candy on the desk. I see that the message on one of the little hearts says "2001 hugs". Does that mean that this candy is a year old, or that they just didn't think to change that one from last year?

Knowing the person who gave Mike that candy, it's probably a year old. The food in her pantry has expiration dates back to 1995. Blech.

2001 hugs divided by 365 days a year equals 5.48 hugs each day of the year. I am sure the candy is still good as well as the promise of at least some of those hugs, if your arms can hold out.
