oatmeal cookies

I just wanted some oatmeal cookies. How hard could it be to find some in Pick & Save? The place is huge. They've got everything. I didn't even care which kind - hard or soft, raisins, whatever. All I wanted was something decent (meaning, not a generic brand).

Guess what? They stock 27 varieties of chocolate chip cookies but only two kinds of oatmeal. And they were both generic. I got the iced version. I hate having to settle.

indeed........the thought of oatmeal cookies without raisins is positively barbaric......prolly no ground pecans either?.......and no olive oil substituted for shortening?.......and no extra oat bran?......just what is the world coming to???

I recently discovered that baking cookies isn't the mysterious activity I once thought it was. Next time, see if they have oatmeal cookie dough. Then you can make your own!

That would have been better except I hate baking cookies. I like baking, I just hate spooning out the dough on the sheets and everything. premade dough wouldn't have been so bad. Funny you should mention that - earlier in the store, I actually noticed they had that product. If I had seen the oatmeal, I might have gotten some.
