in Windows, how do you clear your clipboard?

You open it (clipboard viewer) and clear it, or simply but 'cutting' more info, it will clear whatever was in there before.

A coworker couldn't get the new text to replace the old. He left it for a while and tried it later and it worked fine. :-| Must've been a glitch. Even if the copied text was huge, that shouldn'thave happened.

Sometimes it's not installed... look under the start menu/accessories ... you may have to get the install cd and get it from there.

That's the standard answer from the IT Dept for any problem..."did you try rebooting?" Often, that's all that's necessary.

yup.........i wonder how common it is in the newer windoze versions?........it was a several times a day occurance with some older versions......whatever, i'm just a mac snob.....LOL....and am considering upping my OS to OS-X.....

I use that one often. 75% of the time it's all that's needed.

It moves around the start menu according to which version of Windows you have. You can always hit Start and Run and type in clipbrd to start it.

If you can get it to run, you can use it to clear the clipboard.
