if you could be dictator for a day, what ten specific things would you decree?

I'll answer the question as if you were suggesting I would become dictator of the U.S.

1. It will be a car free day.
2. Each person must do something kind for someone they don't know.
3. Everyone has the day off.
4. I get a raise.
5. All death row inmates get their sentences changed to life in prison (if they wish).
6. National Forests get changed to National Parks.
7. Command performance: PJ Harvey, with the Femmes opening (small club). For all my friends.
8. Build a high speed rail line between Alaska and Arizona.
9. Worldwide ceasefire.
10. Build a statue of me in the park
I want one that glows in the dark
Have them sculpt it to perfection
So I have a huge erection

Great question, great answers! I was going to pick my favorite answers, but there are too many. Let's see, I think I can limit it to: 2, 5, 8, & 9. 10 is a bit disconcerting!

I remember in old cartoons, there used to be some sort of pole at the rail stations that they hung mail bags on for the passing trains. Your statue's special feature could be good for that!
