Our department computer guy says the company administrator showed him a list of all the websites that employees have visited. He said, "you wouldn't believe all the porn sites that people visited, during business hours!"

That's gotta be a short list of people, considering that only a few people have offices so they can set up with their monitors facing away from the doors.

I wonder what they make of my LiveJournal use.

Did you know they had a list like that? I always assumed that IT had that ability. I wonder how much they care about non-threatening sites like LJ. We've had people fired for "inappropriate use" but it was understood that it was porn. I also wonder if they have a list of times, how long a person is at a web site? If I'm logged in to LJ all day, would they assume I'm active in there all day rather than just checking in occasionally?

good point~ i'm gonna ask my friendly IT guy today about that~ i don't want people thinking i'm on lj all day just 'cause i'm logged in~ (*ahem* we won't mention those days when i seemingly AM on lj all day long!) *blush*

I imagine that if you changed pages (friends page to "comment" page, and then "post reply", and then "read it here", and then "comment page", and then back to friends page) each page woudl show up. Would make for awfully boring reading on their part, wouldn't it?

No, I didn't know they did, but I knew they could if they wanted to. It doesn't sound like they take it too seriously.

I hope I don't get nailed for going to "Britney Spears Breasts" that Dave posted. :-}

I tried going there (I was at home) but it took forever to download even with my cable connection. I gave up. Was it worth it?

Yeah, I like their magic system too. However, I'm not too familiar with it. From the few times I've played I remember liking it. I heard that it gets complicated when one tries to summon or deal with spirits though.

I don't think the rules for spirits are any more complicated. It's just that there are more rules.
