One of my favorite colors is Twilight Blue. That color of they sky in the evening, just before its darkest.
That happens to be the name of the color of my Mustang. It's a very deep metallic blue. A friend of mine used to think it was black. he thought that for two and a half years.

Date: 2002-01-08 08:57 am (UTC)From:noting that it was a 390-4V, i am reminded of my friend Len, who totalled his 390 Mach I back in '74.....he fell asleep when driving back from visiting his wife to be.......prolly was only traveling at 50-60 mph when he went off the road.....anywhere else, would have been ok, but he augered into the side of a driveway and flipped the car end-over-end.....he was pretty battered but was able to heal, however, there was nothing left of the car other than a few parts.....
pony cars are not all that practical in this part of the world, although i must admit, i have a soft spot for the early Mach I's....and i might consider making a deal with the devil to get a Kirkham Cobra (reproduction)......*drool*......the rusty land cruiser gets me back and forth to work in all weather and to canoeing and skiing sites with all my gear......it's only got 167K miles on it, so there's lotsa life still there......at least, until the boyz are out of college......
