Anyone ever use Priceline for hotel rooms? Any luck?

my wife used hotline for a hotel room for us @ wakiki.......the price was great, the jury is still out......will report back after the first of the year

my parents got a room with it before but we weren't very happy b/c you don't get to review -where- the hotel they're sticking you in is... you can pick an area of the city and everything but somehow it was really wrong and the directions we got to it online sucked and etc. we were really far from where we needed to be.

The area of the city you can choose from is fairly small, and you can choose the star rating of the hotel.

I hear that Priceline is really bad when it comes to settling disputes.
