Yesterday morning, my water wasn't as warm as it should have been.
Today it was cold. No heat at all. I really wish I had remembered the problem last night. I took off work this afternoon to do something about it. I've been here at LJ for an hour and a half.
It might be as simple as a burned out element, but the thing is old enough that it needs replacing anyway. I called a friend to ask for tips (it is really nice to know somebody who can do anything). He said he can help me replace it tomorrow night. We will put in a gas line and convert it from electric.
So now I'm going to go drain it, and see what I can find out.
