snowing again

The light fluffy stuff has been coming down all day.

I have to drive down to Children's Hospital to see my niece (Nikki is almost two). They thought she just had the flu, but she has bronchitis, and they're trying to keep it from turning into pneumonia. : (

Hope she gets better fast, bronchitis is no joke to have when you're little. It's awfully good of you to go visit the Keed, and to try to get to know her better. (Of course now you get to take all the hugs and good wishes of complete stranger with you, too:)

Because of the bronchitis, she will be susceptible to getting asthma. : (

Unfortuately, yes, but it's not 100 percent...I managed to avoid it, and I had very bad pneumonia and bronchitis when I was small. She might luck out, depending on how her body deals with her illness. (Good thing she's in the hospital where people can watch her if she gets too sick.)
