I'm getting a fender for $40, and a headlight for $65.
Sixty five dollars?! It's a lens, and a plastic housing. Okay, two, since the turn signal is connected to it. But still. It lists new at $150, but this is salvage.
I'm going to take off tomorrow afternoon to do the fender, but they won't have the light in until maybe Wednesday. I have until Friday to get the light fixed to avoid paying a ticket. If I don't get it fixed by then, I can get an extension (it was a 15 day warning), but I really need to get it fixed before I go up north this weekend.

Date: 2001-10-29 02:38 pm (UTC)From:I'm not sure what I'll do about painting it. I didn't ask what color this one is going to be, but I can't imagine it will match. And if it has surface rust like I imagine it will, the rust condition will match my car. I'd like to have the whole thing repainted, but that's expensive. Oh well.
