Everytime I see 'God Bless America', I feel mildly annoyed. Mainly because its become the 'trendy' thing to say, but primarily I think about all the people who don't believe in religion/god. Also, when I see it, I immediately think: "Oh, must be a christian fundamentalist. Goodie."...ok...in reality I don't make that judgement, but that thought immediately does flash across my mind.
That's exactly how I feel.

Its just part of the irony-- they're islamic fundamentalists crying 'allah is great!' and we have christian fundamentalists running around saying 'god bless america'....that was a bit of the thoughts I was also touching on. THAT is one crazy world, when two 'cultures' who believe very similar philsophies very strongly, yet are intent on killing one another. Cain and Abel anyone?
I like the Ishmael view on Cain and Abel though :)
