It's been a busy week.

I worked late last night. I was in kind of a mellow but unsettled mood last night, so I put Nine Inch Nails on while I was wandering around trying to get something done. I meant to settle down with a pen and paper and Ella Fitzgerald and write a letter, but I didn't end up with enough time, so I just put on the music and went to bed.

Today, I have been very busy. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten much done due to the e-mail traffic, and the usual Friday malingering. A lot of people have been stopping by to converse.

I mean to respond to the comments that you made in my post about the Pledge of Allegiance. Thank you for them.

I need to burn some CDs. I made a couple of copies of a compilation, but now that I've got the labels/inserts made I need to make more and give them out. Hopefully I can do that tomorrow.

And I need to post our pictures of our trip to the Dunes. All the pics are uploaded, but I need to get them all arranged and put up the text.

I'm hoping that since I've told you about these two tasks, I'll be more motivated to complete them since everyone will know if I don't get them done.

I hope the weather is decent on Sunday. I plan on fixing part of Cyn's garage. The eaves rotted out on one side, so I have to replace them, and maybe the gutter.

So if you don't hear from me this weekend I should be working on some of those tasks.

I'm sorry...I keep meaning to cut it down to two or so a day, but it never seems to work out that way. If you'd stop being so darned interesting, maybe we could both get some work done!! ;)

Yeah, I know...I just feel a little guilty. As much talking as we do during the day, it's amazing how much we still find to talk about when we get together, isn't it?!
