The song is by the band Phish, and the album is called Junta.

Great song, especially the guitar passage that comes right around the lyrics you quote.

Ah, that explains it. The DJ was mumbling, and I couldn't make it out, but I guess it did sound like "fish." I'm not a Phish fan, so I didn't recognize them.
