WMSE doesn't have commercials, but they do play lots of public service announcements. Here is one of the worst. You really need to hear the shaky voice of the man, and the melodramatic concern of the woman. You can tell she's close to breaking down and sobbing.
*door slams*
Hi hon!
Hey.
Honey, what happened?
I was rushing home to catch the game. There was a train coming. I thought I could beat it.
Oh Bill!
I was just about to go around the gates. Something made me slam on the brakes.
*Whispers* Oh dear God.
It wasn't worth the risk.
Oh Bill!
I'm sorry.
Announcer:
Don't try to beat a train. Or someone you love will get hurt. Look, listen and live.
