I spent the afternoon yesterday with Cyn and a friend. We drove north a bit and saw the fall colors. The trees were changing, the sun was out and the day was gorgeous.

The colors were a little different than they often are. The grass was still green, as were many of the trees, but the maples were in their full yellow, orange and red glory. Even some of the greens were glowing.

I can just imagine what that looked like. I love to travel on scenic and wooded highways heading north when the trees are in color. It must have been so beautiful and peaceful.
