You know how They always tell you to refresh less often, when LJ is sluggish? Do you know how to do that? If you have your friends page in your address bar, just pull it down from there. It calls up the same version you had up last. It only refreshes when you tell it to, and you don't have to refresh it until you've read the whole page. When you click on "friends" in the left side blue column, it will get the most recent, refreshed version.

The only time I refresh is to find out if there are any new posts by my friends. I can't download the feature here at work that will let me know if there's a new post. That would be a great thing to have...then I could stop wondering if I'm missing something.

The point is that if you click on a link that is "friends" it goes to the refreshed page, but if you use the address bar it doesn't.

I didn't really make that clear (but I tried).
