I wish my mom wouldn't do cookie exchanges. She always gets crap in exchange for her marvelous creations.
I know I'm prejudiced towards some of her cookies, but some of them really are the best I've ever had.

Better to be prejudiced towards some of your mom's cookies than against some people!
But here's a simple fact: There are no better chocolate chip cookies in the universe than my mom's. It's not even open for debate.

I can say with no reservation whatsoever, that her pecan crescents are the best I've ever had. In fact they are so good, that I would be thrilled to find better.

I had some pecan crescents at work today. Bleeack!
Not only were they soft (not crispy crumbly) but they had a bad taste.
