I'm back at work today. I'm feeling better, but still not over it. I'm working a half day. I slept in, and I'll leave a bit early.

So Ronnie sees me and says I'll have to change my time card for the week (they were handed in early because of month-end). So I go up there, and Chris filled it out as paid sick days. Paid sick days? We don't get paid sick days. Do we? I asked Ronnie and she says it's manager's discretion whether we get them or not. So how come I've worked here for four years, and never heard of this? Maybe because I seldom take days off (because I didn't know I could get them paid)? Maybe because I never asked for a paid sick day (because I didn't know I could)? I guess when I was hired the boss didn't think to say anything because I already worked for the company, but we definitely didn't get paid sick days out in the shop.
