kitchen remodel 38
Oct. 6th, 2021 10:50 pmI'm still recuperating. Tonight I returned some unneeded supplies and got about $70 back. I tried to find hoes to connect the air gap to the drain, but there were none. After I got home I realized I should have looked for a drain pipe with a different sized branch.
I'm taking tomorrow afternoon off. Will likely run around getting supplies. I still need more tile adhesive. And I noticed the grout they gave me was sanded. I've got 1/8" joints, which I thought would use unsanded. (They use sand in grout that has larger joints, usually on floor tile.) Then I hope to get the dishwasher running in the evening.
Here's what it looks like with the tile. It's not mostly-done yet, because it's not grouted and the outlet is still hanging out. On the other side of the room, one wall still needs tile, and the dishwasher isn't hooked up yet.

And here's a closeup showing the drawer pulls and knobs. You can see the quartersawn oak figure, and the beveled edge of the countertop.
