They finished the floor today. Somewhat annoyed that the guy couldn't figure out which pieces of molding went where, and he ran out. I guess I need to buy molding, stain and varnish it, and cut and install it. Someday. Also, I'm not sure if I should be concerned that some of the seams aren't tight, vertically. The floor is somewhat flexible, and the vinyl planks can move up and down in relation to each other. Mostly around the edges.

Otherwise it's great! It looks really nice.

I was able to use a hand truck to get the sink into the kitchen, and I put the faucet on it while it was on the floor. Then when my friend arrived, I had him help me get it in place. It could actually fall through its hole, I guess, so it was tricky to keep from doing more damage and/or hurting ourselves, but I got it wedged in place with some boards. Then I hooked up the faucet, and put buckets under the drains. We'll see when I have time to buy drain pipes, and connect the sink to the wall. At least we can run water!

Oh, and I weighed the sink. A double-bowl kitchen sink, made of cast iron. Any guesses?

The table is back in the kitchen. And I put most of the stuff back in the pantry, and brought the microwave oven back into the kitchen. We'd been using it on the dining room floor.
