kitchen remodel 14

Lower cabinets in. No doors or drawers. He showed up as we were getting ready to eat supper. I wasn't in the room when he started, so he put the cabinets over the vinyl flooring in places. He didn't realize it was coming out. It won't cause a functional problem, it just annoys me. Because that's how I am.

While he was working, I broke up the cabinets that we had taken out. I kept a lot of the oak to use for fireplace kindling. Most of the plywood was a bit messed up. You know, used. But kindling is good. I hate to see it go to the landfill when it can be used for something. That's how I am. Anyway, I got half of the trash plywood into the trash bin, which is now full, and we have the whole rest of the week to go, so I hope we don't have anymore garbage that has to go out urgently.

I also went to my mom's to help her figure out how to use her DVR again.

And then I swept the garage and made room for the flooring people to come through, and also room for our appliances. Did I mention they're moving all the appliances for us, and even the plumbing fixtures? Then I emptied the rest of the fridge and pantry. And now it's after 11:00.

But everything is good.
