Xmas, so far
Dec. 24th, 2016 10:22 pmMike and Jill are in town. Heather and Greg picked them up at the airport yesterday, so we went down to Kenosha in the snow to have dinner with them all.
Then Mike and Jill came up here to spend the day with us. We went out to lunch, and then stopped by the Fermentorium for a visit. Mike does all their graphic design, and he had never been there to see the place and visit the owner, so we had some beers and got a tour.
We went to Karl Ratzch for dinner. The place is a Milwaukee institution. It, along with Mader's, remains the standard bearer for German restaurants in the city. It's been in business sine 1904 (but only family owned until the 1990's). Very German and very good.
