Feb. 9th, 2014 12:17 pmYesterday, Cyn and I put on our warm clothing and went to the beach. It was 15 degrees, and we were out for about an hour and a half.

There were some big ice volcanoes. The ice freezes onshore, and creates channels. The waves come in these channels and spray upwards, depositing ice on top of the ice, and it builds up in cones. Eventually, the channels freeze over, into tunnels, but the water still shoots out, so the cones build up on all sides.
