Home of the ho-made pies!

The fabulous sign at the Thunderbird Restaurant. I stayed at the adjoining motel for three nights at the beginning of my trip, but was never able to get a night shot, since they switch it off at 10:00. Finally, the last night of my trip, I was staying in Kanab, which is only half an hour's drive away. I got back near sunset, so I drove on up to Mt. Carmel Junction, just in time to get a little light in the sky behind the sign.

I've finally come to the end of the photos of my Utah/Arizona trip from last May. I hope you've enjoyed them!


The ho was added to the sign some time in the previous year. I've found it on the internets labeled as "unintentional humor," but I'm pretty sure they know exactly what "ho" means.
