still sick
Feb. 21st, 2008 10:25 amThis feels like that illness I used to get every year at Christmas. Not as bad, though. fortunately. It would be nice if I could go back to work on monday.
It got down to about -8°F last night. I had heard it was supposed to be get colder than that. Fortunately, I had no need to go outside. My camera is in the shop, so I couldn't have gone out to take pictures of the eclipse if I'd wanted to.
I heard birds chirping outside, a few minutes ago.
My friend's dad died of a massive brain embolism on sunday. He was only 56. The funeral is tonight, but I don't think I'm going to be able to go. We had a card to send, but can't find their address. I should have just driven by their house. I'd feel better about leaving the card in their box, if there wasn't a stamp already on the envelope.
