Why hasn't anyone ever marketed a cookie-chip chocolate bar?

The recipe on a package of the Nestle Chocolate Chips is the best, especially if you add MORE chips than called for, and walnuts. They are easy to make...

I'm trying to decide if I could put a handful of chips on a cookie sheet, with little bits of cookie dough, and baked it... or if I'd have to bake the cookie dough first, and just mix it in with melted chocolate. I may have to experiment.

I'm not sure about them. They also proposed Bisquid.
The main ingredient in the filling will be reconstituted squid parts. These can be supplemented with other less expensive 'mechanically recovered' fish produce in order to keep costs down. The biscuits themselves will be flavoured/coloured using squid ink. In all other respects, the design will be comparable to it's cheesy counterparts.

Wonding. Boy, it's really obvious on that page, isn't it?

They do have chocolate chip granola bars... and I think the Instant Breakfast Bars... and maybe the Slim Fast Bars come in chocolate chip...

There is an awful lot of stuff out there of which I am unaware.

Yeah, they put chocolate chips in anything, nowdays. But I'm wondering about chocolate bars with little chips of cookie in them.

Ohhhhh...
Well that's a good idea if they have never done them.

I want a chocolate chip/mint/cookie.
And I want it now.

Mmmm. My mom used to make chocolate chip cookies with mint-chocolate chips. I like them a lot. I wonder if they still make those chips.

I made those a few Christmases ago, gave them to the dispatch office and was told they were deeeelish.

I make a chocolate chip cookie bar all the time. Happens to be my daughters favorite!

A chocolate bar with little cookie chips?

So that is what you mean...nope. No little cookie chips in them though you could buy little cookies and put in them or make some cookies and cut them in bite size pieces and put in the bar. Way too much work! LOL

"You got peanut butter on my chocolate!"

"You got chocolate in my peanut butter!"

;)

2 cents

My friend Natalie makes Nestle's chocolate chip cookies and adds some broken up bits of candy bar. Ees soo yummy.

A chocolate bar with cookie dough in it, huh? Like the ice cream without the ice cream? I dunno, seems like it would be difficult to make...work.

Okay, a truffle sort of thing-- that could work. A piece of chocolate like a Godiva truffle, only stuffed with cookie dough. 'Cause the "cookie chip" you describe? Sounds dehydrated and not as flavourful.

I was thinking cooked cookie chips, rather than cookie dough like is in ice cream. You could be right about them being dry. It depends on what kind of cookie pieces and how you cook them. There are soft, chewy cookies. You could just put them in the melted chocolate. But the texture might be better with crispy cookie bits.

To be honest, I'm not one of those people who always wants more chocolate in his cookies. I like a good balance, and good flavor to my cookies.
