longest lineups
Nov. 16th, 2003 10:55 amFor many years, I've kept an eye on the longest stable lineups of bands. These are the five longest that I've found:
#5. Rolling Stones: sixteen years. From when Ron Wood joined in '76 until Bill Wyman left in '92.
#4. Queen: 20 years. Formed in '71. Freddie Died in '91
#3. U2: 26 years. Formed in '77 (first record in '80).
#2. Rush: 28 years. From When Neil Peart joined the band in '75 to present.
#1. ZZ Top: 34 years. Formed in '69. Still going.
I imagine I've missed some, so if anyone can provide any other bands or corrections, please do so.
