lj cut... done to death
Sep. 15th, 2003 01:27 pmfor some reason I missed the most important reason to use the LJ cut - sidescroll.
If the picture you post is wider than a viewer's page would normally be, it will force the whole page to that width. If that width is wider than the viewers screen, a line of text will go off the screen. Then you have to scroll sideways to read it. I know I speak for many when I say that it is infuriating.
If you have a big picture, please put it behind the LJ cut.
I always have to remove people from my friends list (or default view, anyway), and I usually forget to oput them back.
