I dislike the negativity I've heard about the Independance Day celebrating this year. Like many people, I'm unhappy with what our administration is doing with this country, but for some reason the bashing was bugging me.

Then kricker put it into words for me. She said, "... a day that is, for me, becoming less of a celebratory occasion, and more of an occasion of reflection on what it means to be an American. I wanted to hear about the things that were good about America, that we needed to remember and live up to."
