home sick

Here I am.

I'm tired of being sick. I hate going to work because I don't think I'm sick enough to be off for an entire week. I hate going to work and wondering if I'm infecting anybody. I hate staying home and sitting in front of the computer when I could be at work sitting in front of the computer and getting paid for it.

I was sick the week before last, but this time I have some sort of bronchitis. My throat hurts. I started anti-biotics last night. I'm not coughing as bad as I had been for the last few days.

I'd like to get somework done around the house, but it takes energy (and vacuuming puts dust in the air). I'd like to get caught up with some correspondence, but I don't feel I have the brains to do so right now. I'm not thinking quite up to speed.

I thought I had done so well this month with paying the bills.

I mailed my credit card payment only one day before the due date, so I got stuck with a $29 late fee. Yesterday I got a notice that I hadn't payed my house payment. I totally forgot. I had never missed that one before. That one cost me $32.

There were 210 names on the list.

Assuming this torture was real, what the heck was this petition supposed to achieve?
