A couple of weeks ago, the construction outside caused the power to be cut to the east side of town, where I work. Today, it was the phones. No phone, no e-mail, no internet. Just work. Which was not really a bad thing, given how much work I have to do.

After work, we played Shadowrun. It went really well. I kept my head, and was able to keep combat moving. The guys broke into the research facility, got the data, had to blow a hole in the side of the building and rappel down. I let them escape, collect their payment and start to relax when they learned their pictures were all over the news. They were wanted - bigtime. They were set up and made to look like they were working for another (BIG) corporation. This corp now wants them too. The police are after them. The company they stole the data from wants them, and this new company wants them. And then there's the one who set all this up in the first place. this is so cool!

If you live near Milwaukee, and the sky is clear tonight, go outside around 7:10 PM tonight, and you should be able to see the Mir space station.

It will rise at 7:10 in the NW. Its highest appearance will be at 7:12 at 66 degrees elevation NNW. It will then vanish (if I read the site correctly. ?)

I just got more Girl Scout Cookies. They were $3 a box, and I don't think there were any more cookies than the ones I paid $2.50 for. I'll have to pay closer attention next year.
