Remember my post back in December where I said we had record snow for the month? We had nearly 50 inches. That post was January first. We haven't had any snow since then. There're only five inches on the ground. It was warm for a while. Everyone said that was good, but I didn't like it because all the snow turned to ice. Now it's cold again so it should be snowing but it's not. The only thing that makes the cold worthwhile is there being snow to enjoy. But since it had been warm, ther is no snow to enjoy - it's the worst of both worlds. So I hope all those people who were glad that it got warm, are still glad.

last night
Jan. 20th, 2001 12:11 pmI went out with Cyn and my friend Doug. We wen't out to eat. The place had one of those computerized trivia games that you play with restaurant and bar customers from all over the country. We came in third in our place.
Then we came back to my place and played Scrabble. It was a close game, although I wasn't happy that one third of my points came from "quiz" on a triple word score - pure luck. I just had trouble concentrating, all night.
Then we went to a comedy club. Doug's coworker won a party of twenty, so we tagged along. It wasn't all that great. The first guy was the same guy we all saw open for Emo on New Year's Eve. Same routine. The second guy was pretty good - Steve Sabo. The last guy - I can't remember his name - wasn't too great. Even though it was free, I would much rather have spent the evening at home with Cyn.
