It's August 20th already. I knew summer was winding down, but it hadn't sunk in yet, I guess.

It hasn't been a bad summer, but it doesn't seem like fall should be so close. There's only a month of summer left (no school for me!).

(Sorry about that bit of gloating.)

What do I have to do before summer ends?
finish painting the garage
paint the railings on the porch
maybe do some yard remodeling
clean up "the jungle" (okay that was a Spring project)
put down some weed/feed on the lawn
call about mudjacking a garage or two

What else do I have to do before it gets too cold?
replace a window
clean my garage

What do I have to do before too long?
clean my basement
put up my bedroom closet pole
visit my sister & niece
acquire some more camping gear
call grandma
reattach hair after pulling it all out
go see The Mosleys

What do I have to do this week?
mow the lawn
clean the damn house for company
see a movie
visit my dad
buy some new windows for my garage
Cyn and I are going camping in Michigan on the weekend of the eighth. Scouts is starting up again soon. I'm still running my Shadowrun (RPG) campaign.


I just switched my calendar from July to August. :-/

um, i know i live in the woods in maine, and all, but what does "mudjacking a garage " mean?!

Mudjacking is where they drill holes in concrete (usually sidewalks) and pump mud in, to raise and level the slabs. My garage is sinking, and I'd like to get an estimate.
