I didn't sleep very well last night. My neighbors were noisy, and I had a moth in the room. I woke up twice because it was flying into my arm. It was flapping into the wall noisily enough to make me notice several times throughout the night. Sometime after five o'clock, I was able to open the shade and it stayed on the screen. I wasn't sleep very soundly though, or it wouldn't have woken me up.

I've gotten to bed at a reasonable time for the last two nights, and I'm still so tired.

perhaps you need a little white background noise?.......maybe a fan?

A fan? Very funny. :-| Oh. Um. Sorry.

I have a factory that provides background noise. It didn't really help.

I think it is the wether, since a lot of people seem to be havign a little trouble sleeping.

perhaps, a stage of the moon?

too bad about the noise from the factory......

occasionally, i hear the wind

then there is the 5am train in the distance

perhaps a car on the local road.....pretty quiet for the most part

I guess that is why one never hears of moths going to graduate school or anything like that. I hate mosquitos in my room at night also, buzzing my head like torpedos. Damn! I'm on LJ, sure feels good.

What kind of moth?

I saw it Saturday night. I'm surprised it's still alive...unless this is a new one. It didn't stop flying long enough to get a good look at it. It was completely black, from what I could see...two inch wingspan.

Yeah, an ugly ol' dark brown one.

I don't usually have a whole lot of bugs in my house.

I think the background noise idea is a good one. Poor Kev. (Also a little lavender oil dabbed onto a kleenex by the bed helps you sleep too.) At least the moth will likely be dead by the time you go home...

Ms Eff, hoping you get some sleep soon.
