The question was, "is it still a dime a ride?" "No, it's twenty cents now." The reply sounded a lot like, "Jesus Christ!"

Nothing here cost a dime. I remember a few years ago I went to make a phone call at a phone booth up down. I put in my 20 cents, nothing, little did I know it now cost 35 cents to make a pay phone call. Oh, and if you don't have 35 cents, but only two quarters, no change will come out. Okay..I guess most people have cell phones now, but I bet it is more than 35 cents a call anyways.

Here in the UK they doubled the minimum call in a phone box *because* of the popularity of mobile phones: the pay phones weren't making any money. 8~(
