I took yesterday afternoon off, and Cyn had early release since it was a Friday. We drove up to Plymouth for their jazz crawl.

Plymouth is the cheese capital of the US. It is estimated that ten to fifteen percent of US cheese is produced in shipped out of this little town. Twenty-five percent of US cheese is made in the state. If Wisconsin was a country, it would be the fourth largest producer of cheese in the world, after Germany, France and Italy. Yes, like most of what the US is known for, that's by quantity. Just like Milwaukee was the beer capital of the world. Anyway...

The Plymouth Arts Center has a fundraising event called the Jazz Crawl. Ten local bars bring in jazz bands. The Center has two venues for bands, they have food for sale, and sell wristbands, all for fundraising. Our photography group will be the featured group for this even next year, so we went up to check it out. It looks good.

Cindy and I stopped at the local brewpub for a beer. Then we caught up with some others at a different place and listened to a jazz band for a while. Then we went to a different bar. One of us wanted to hear the band. Fortunately, the band was playing in their outdoor space, so we all hung out inside where it was marginally quieter, and much less crowded (except for that one person who wanted to hear the band). It was a fun night.

Today it was chilly - it didn't hit 70°F), so I stayed indoors. I spent most of the day at the computer. I was trying to get some work done on our St.Andrew's website. Talked with the previous webmaster a bit to figure out how I was supposed to do it, but still didn't get it done because I'm waiting on someone else to give me a file. I was also working on photos and... where did the day go?
