Cuidado Carneval

There was a carnival setting up when Dave and I wandered through in the afternoon. We decided to go back in the evening to check it out. It did not disappoint!



Isn't it amazing?!


I've never jumped on the clowns-are-creepy bandwagon, but would definitely not have wanted to sit on this guy's lap, and be locked in!



It looked scary in the daylight too!

Dave really wanted to ride the Jules Verne Astroliner. I must admit that after all of the superheroes, Disney and anime themed rides, I was intrigued to see what this Jules Verne ride was about. Unfortuntely, I pictured myself getting seasick, which would not have made for a good night.


Unfortunately for Dave, the ride wasn't running while we were there. Seems like the operator never showed up.


Dee Dee was excited to ride the ferris wheel, and got Dave to ride with her.

This carousel is like Orin Scrivello's dentist drill. They don't make 'em like this anymore. Heavy, rusty, dull.


Pink horse looked worried.


Maybe it was because it was a weeknight, but the place was not very busy. There was only one ride that was consistently busy.
