I'm not religious, but churches make great images. While every small town has at least one church, there are many of them in Oaxaca.
This one was probably the most spectacular. We didn't get to go inside because they were getting ready for mass. Soledad, or Basilica de Nuestra Senora de la Soledad.
The stonecarving is great, and very well preserved.
God is watching you. Templo Sangre de Cristo.
I love the tile roofs. Metropolitan Cathedral, next to Zocalo Oaxaca, the main square. Clock from 1757?
